How do I use Eve?

Begin by using Eve at least 20-30 minutes before you retire for the night, but after preparing yourself for bed. For restless sleepers, apply Eve immediately upon awakening and return to bed. Eve's effects are best complemented by mindful breathing for at least the first few minutes after application in a resting position. There are three Eve formulations. Each are used differently: Bath & Body Drops, Pillow Mist and Sleep Cream. Apply each according to its own directions. They may be used separately or in combination. The therapeutic action of all Eve formulas relies on the same Valerian essential oil fragrance accord.

• Bath & Body Drops - Our calming Valerian essential oil accord is delivered in 100% pure virgin jojoba, and nothing else. To use Eve Bath & Body Drops, apply as much or as little as you need from your neck to your sternum prior to bed. Wear loose clothing to allow Eve's earthy vapors to reach the nose and mouth. Or use as bath drops by putting 10 or more drops into a steamy, relaxing bedtime bath. The pure jojoba will leave your skin feeling beautifully moisturized and restored.

How often can I use Eve?

Eve is safe enough to use everyday. Use as much or as little as you need to surround yourself with the aroma so that the vapors reach the nose and mouth as you rest. For a bedtime bath, start with at least 10 Bath & Body Drops, then add more if needed to get the desired level of vapors. Eve works best with at least few minutes of mindful breathing. Shop Eve

Starting at the base, you can see the brown Valerian roots at the foundation of Eve. The white, dry-looking sticks above are roots of Vetiver, another traditionally sedating note whose earthy character is found in many fine fragrances. Above that are Lavender and the pink flowers and green leaves of Rose Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), both widely recognized for their relaxing quality and their fragrant beauty.

What is Valerian?

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) has been used traditionally for insomnia, anxiety, menopausal symptoms and other conditions for centuries. While its historical use is well known, its exact mechanism of action remains somewhat elusive to science. Still, Valerian continues to be one of the most widely researched botanical medicines today. The rich, earthy essential oil from Valerian is distilled from the roots of the plant. By itself, its essential oil has a somewhat unpleasant, pungent scent, but Valerian's use as a natural aid to sleep is legendary.

Bath & Body Drops

Eve drops contain only essential oils in a base of pure virgin jojoba. Great for an ultra-relaxing bath, and safe enough to use directly on your skin.

• • On the body, apply as much or as little as you need from your neck to your sternum prior to bed. Wear loose clothing to allow Eve’s earthy vapors to reach the nose and mouth. The pure virgin jojoba will moisturize and tone your skin.

• In a bath, put 10 or more drops into a steamy, relaxing bedtime bath. Be sure to use enough Eve for its vapors to envelop your senses. The pure jojoba will leave your skin feeling beautifully smooth and moisturized.

Pillow Mist

Use just before bedtime, or anytime you need to relax and recuperate. Mist as much as desired onto blankets, pillows, linens or even on your own body. It’s a boost of calmness just before you settle in to sleep. Works great along with either the Sleep Cream or Bath & Body Drops.

Sleep Cream

Begin by washing your face to remove dirt and oil. Pat dry. Immediately apply Eve Sleep Cream to your face while is still damp. Evenly smooth a thin layer to the face and décolletage, particularly under the eyes and around areas that show signs of sleeplessness. Be sure to apply enough so that Eve’s vapors can reach the nose and mouth.
